Custom Hybrid Conductors
The conductor is a proprietary blend of highly refined OCC 6N copper, pure silver, 24K gold, graphene and other metals. This combination allows the cable to take advantage of the different electrical characteristics of each material across the frequency range.
In the XLR version, a double-helix geometry is used. The RCA version employs a carefully optimised strand arrangement. Together, these elements are designed to provide fine detail, precise transients, good tonal balance and natural timbre. Instruments and voices remain clearly placed within a stable soundstage, even in complex music, while a low noise floor helps reveal quieter information.
The precious metals used in the hybrid conductors form a significant part of the cable’s cost.
Technology and Research
We use advanced materials and design techniques to achieve high resolution, balanced frequency response, and a natural presentation. Our cables are engineered to offer a clean signal path between components while minimising external interference. Through ongoing research and development, we refined a hybrid conductor approach that aims to deliver strong detail retrieval with a more natural tonal balance and lower listening fatigue than many pure silver designs.
Connectors
We use high-quality connectors chosen for reliable contact and long-term performance. XLR connectors feature spring-loaded pins, while RCA connectors use a locking mechanism to maintain a secure connection. The pins are made from 99.99% OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) and plated in 24K gold to resist oxidation and support consistent signal transfer.
Shielding
Good shielding against EMI and RFI is important for interconnect cables, as external noise can affect the audio signal. This is especially relevant for RCA cables, which do not benefit from the noise-rejection characteristics of balanced XLR designs. Our cables use a dual-layer shield made from a MIL-SPEC copper braid with custom plating, combined with an aerospace-grade copper foil, to help protect the signal from external interference.
